Situated on the beautiful Isle of Iona off the West Coast of Scotland, Grianan is a spectacular house sleeping 10 people across 4 rooms (1 double, 2 twins, and a 4 bed dormitory). It is the perfect place for a family holiday or a quiet getaway.
Unlike many holiday cottages available to rent, Grianan is first and foremost for the family. This is a good thing however, as it’s not the blank space you might expect from a holiday home – there are family portraits on the walls, and a wealth of books to choose from (though please don’t take them away with you), and no TV is supplied – what do you need a TV for? There’s no reception anyway, and just look out the window!
At present Grianan is a self maintained house, i.e. you will need to bring your own bed linen and clean the house after your stay. There are plenty of duvets and pillows, mainly single duvets, there are only two double duvets. There is bed linen in the house but please launder these and leave them to dry when you leave if used. Please do read the full before you go page for all the information you need – it’s important.
